Who We Are
After graduating from Gonzaga School of Law, Todd J. Sullivan started Sullivan Homes Inc. with the design and construction of his grandmother's home in Spokane, Washington. That first house, built in 1993, was the start of a company that has built over 1,000 homes in the greater Spokane, Coeur d' Alene, Hayden Lake and Sandpoint, Idaho regions.
By 2007, the Sullivan Homes family consisted of Sullivan Homes Washington, Sullivan Homes Idaho and Flagstone Development. Although the Sullivan Homes Companies posted $52 million in sales that year, the ethics and commitment to our clients, subcontractors and employees never waivered.
With the colllapse of the banking and construction industries in 2008 and 2009, the Companies were dissolved until 2014 when Todd J. Sullivan returned to Spokane, Washington. With the help of family and friends, Sullivan Homes LLC was restarted and commenced full operations in 2015.
Sullivan Homes LLC currently builds in the greater Spokane, Washington, Coeur d' Alene and Hayden Lake, Idaho. As one of the few "design/build" firms in the region, Sullivan Homes offers its clients the complete custom design through construction program with it's "in-house" design team and construction staff.
Todd J. Sullivan JD
Growing up in Spokane, Washington, Todd J. Sullivan was always the entrepreneur. After graduating from Gonzaga School of Law and working for a local judge, Todd realized that his true passion was residential home design and construction.
Todd left law and joined his father's construction firm, Sullivan Rowell Homes, where he learned the science of entry level, high volume home construction in central Washington. With several hundred homes under his belt, one day his grandmother called and asked the family if Todd could build her a new home. Grandma wanted to move back home.
That was the beginning of Sullivan Homes.
Through the years with Sullivan Homes and Flagstone Development, Todd and his family were very active in the greater Spokane, Washington region in charitable and community events.
In 2006, ABC contacted Todd to build an Extreme Makeover Home with Ty Pennington in Sandpoint, Idaho. In 99.2 hours, Todd and his crew with over 1,200 volunteers demolished and constructed a beautiful 3,600 s.f. home for the Hebert family on national live television.
Another milestone for Sullivan Homes in 2006 was sucessfully building and selling over $52m in homes and land in the greater Spokane, Washington to Sandpoint, Idaho. As the second largest bulder in the region, Sullivan Homes was not only making a difference in building communities, but helping in the communities.
After the Extreme Makeover project, Todd and Mark Peterson from KXLY decided to continue giving back to the community and started Extreme Team. Extreme Team helped deserving families and non-profits with makeover projects over the next two years. After 24 episodes and the recession hitting hard, Todd resigned from the Extreme Team and moved his family to Arizona. In 2014, Todd moved back to Spokane, Washington with his youngest son to start a new chapter in life. By 2015, Todd restarted Sullivan Homes and is in the process of rebuilding it, one house at a time.
